Wrapped up the second book in the Red Rising Series, Golden Son. I enjoyed this book more than the first I think. I’ll wait a month or so before jumping into the third book. Got another tee’d up for February.

Prof G — I listened to a lot of Prof G this past month. Market updates, life advice, investment strategy, and interesting topics with guests keep me coming back. One interesting thought from this podcast made me question if I really need to have health insurance while I’m so healthy right now… haven’t been to the doctor once in over a decade.

Flat Earthers, what they believe and why — this was a fascinating listen about theories that the earth is flat (I don’t buy it for a second) but I listened to this more out of curiosity and wanted to hear more about why people believe in conspiracies. Key takeaway / thought exercise for people believing in conspiracies: ask when was the last time they changed their mind or POV about any conspiracy. If they’ve never changed their mind then maybe that can help them realize they have a hard time challenging their own beliefs.
